Stop Bad Breath NOW!

What Causes BAD BREATH?!

We all have bad breath from time to time. Eating tasty, but pungent food like garlic or onions can make anyone think twice about moving in for a kiss afterward. Unfortunately, it’s possible to suffer from more than just the occasional food-related halitosis, and regularly have embarrassing moments where your breath might not be so fresh.

What Causes Bad Breath?

According to the Mayo Clinic, there’s a lot of things that can cause chronic bad breath beyond just what you eat. For example:
  • Dry Mouth
  • Poor dental hygiene
  • Infections like gum disease
  • Tooth Decay
  • Medications
  • Tobacco Products
  • Chronic reflux of stomach acids or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease)

How Can I Fix It?

While oral health is definitely an important step to combating halitosis, studies have also shown that managing our internal gut health through probiotics that support a healthy immune system is also important.

The right probiotics can assist our body with balancing intestinal microflora which will improve our oral health and the bad breath symptoms that go along with gingivitis and periodontitis.

Dr. Harold Katz, recognized as America’s Bad Breath Expert, and author of The Bad Breath Bible has been a proponent of probiotics for treating bad breath for many years. A Huffington Post article he published in 2011 cites a number of research studies that conclude the positive effects of probiotics on those suffering from chronic halitosis. He summarizes all of the scientific results of the many studies by saying, “beneficial bacteria found in probiotics can replace existing harmful ones.”

Which Probiotics Should I Take?

Studies show that a number of different healthy gut bacteria can positively affect our breath. When choosing a brand, it’s important to select one that has several (if not all) of these probiotic bacteria like Biopron 9 that includes 9 separate probiotic strains that are balanced for our bodies.

Additionally, it’s important that the probiotics are delivered in a high enough dose to make a difference. The Biopron products feature high concentration daily doses of as many as 20 billion CFU (colony-forming units) to ensure the body has enough to work with.

Finally, choosing a product that is clinically tested and safe and effective for everyone, including diabetics, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and even children ages 3 and above like Biopron ensures you’ll get great quality products that deliver results quickly.

Anyone who suffers from chronic bad breath should add a high-quality probiotic to their daily routine. Not only will it help to “clear the air,” but it can also improve oral health from the inside out by giving the body everything it needs to stay balanced, healthy, and odor-free.
